Stimulus package must include money for post-secondary education/research
[2009 01 20]Robinson says renewed investments in university research will create jobs and contribute to the long-term economic and social development of the country.
“The government must also invest in the skills and knowledge of people through increased funding to provinces in support of universities and colleges,” he added.
CAUT is also calling on the government to expand access to post-secondary education by providing more student aid.
