Meeting Thursday
There will be a special meeting on Thursday, July 23rd, from 12:00-2:00 in Room A-230. The negotiating team will provide an update of progress to date. We look forward to seeing you there. A lunch will be provided.

Annual General Meeting
Our Annual General Meeting will be held on April 20th from 12:00 to 2:00 (place to be announced later). If you have any agenda items please send them to me (Mary Keating) by April 16th. I will send out the agenda and other details regarding the meeting immediately following that date.

Tentative agreement reached at Brandon University
The Brandon University Faculty Association (BUFA) has reached a tentative agreement with the employer, bringing an end to their 17 day strike and lockout that began on September 29. The 240 professors, librarians and instructional and administrative associates who make up BUFA’s membership returned to work October 16, and classes resumed the following day. Details of the agreement will be made public at the end of October, pending ratification.
Laurentian to settle
This is to advise you that LUFA-APPUL has reached a tentative settlement for a three-year contract last evening with the Board of Laurentian University. Details of the contract will be made available later and we expect ratification votes to happen some time next week at our Sudbury and Barrie campuses. ..Jean-Charles Cachon, Trustee and LUFA-APPUL Secretary and Treasurer
